Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Battal Cüneyt Bozbora started the match with the kick off. Gürbüz Yıldızhan hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Mümtaz İslam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdülhak Eraslan in the 6th minute. Orhun Hallaç struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Mümtaz İslam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Refahiye. Cengiz Ongunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Refahiye were furious when Berkem Sayraç was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for gönenspor. Emran Cankan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fethi Hasankeyf. 0-1. In the 26th minute, Cengiz Ongunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fethi Hasankeyf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Refahiye's goal looked a bit too open when Cengiz Ongunes came free, but Fethi Hasankeyf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When gönenspor's Battal Cüneyt Bozbora in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, gönenspor's Fethi Hasankeyf threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Battal Cüneyt Bozbora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Abdülhak Eraslan put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Mümtaz İslam. 71 minutes into the match, Battal Cüneyt Bozbora dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fethi Hasankeyf, 1-3. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Refahiye's goalkeeper Fethi Hasankeyf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Refahiye's Ege Erkılıç got a free kick in the 77th minute. Erol Ayberk charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erol Ayberk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Refahiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erol Ayberk to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Battal Cüneyt Bozbora fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fethi Hasankeyf, passed just outside the right post. If Abdülhak Eraslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Refahiye supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching gönenspor's performance. The match ended with a win for gönenspor.
