Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Servet Kocak made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çakır Karaca during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gençlergücü booed when Esenler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakır Karaca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute İskender Baki Soytekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şansal Kaim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Tommy Bohlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şansal Kaim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tommy Bohlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by İskender Baki Soytekin in the 16th minute of play forced Esenler's goalkeeper Şansal Kaim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şansal Kaim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Bohlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İskender Baki Soytekin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Bohlin in the 23rd minute of play forced Esenler's goalkeeper Şansal Kaim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jimeno Millrick came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gençlergücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Millrick couldn't finish the play. Esenler's Şansal Kaim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Bohlin in the 27th minute of play. İskender Baki Soytekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Şansal Kaim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şansal Kaim came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gençlergücü's Tommy Bohlin. But to his dismay, Tommy Bohlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Bohlin in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şansal Kaim saved Esenler from getting behind. Esenler's Çakır Karaca got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Çakır Karaca off the ground. After 38 played minutes Esenler got a freekick which was hit by Çakır Karaca. Şansal Kaim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Bohlin went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.

A collision led to Gençlergücü getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Eralp Abdulhakimoğlu hit a great ball. Esenler's Karhan İçkin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gençlergücü. Servet Kocak's late challenge caught a Gençlergücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Servet Kocak helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Esenler getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Servet Kocak hit a great ball. Tommy Bohlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Bohlin let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 64th minute shot 0-5 at rihgt post. Tommy Bohlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şansal Kaim having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jimeno Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlergücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Millrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şansal Kaim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Esenler's zone, Tommy Bohlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şansal Kaim came out of the goal and Tommy Bohlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Çağatay Seçkiner kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Esenler:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gençlergücü:s goal. Tommy Bohlin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Şansal Kaim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tommy Bohlins short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Şansal Kaim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94thth minute of the game Tommy Bohlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esenler's Şansal Kaim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Esenler booed when Gençlergücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eralp Abdulhakimoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gençlergücü's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
