Carsamba SK's Gürbüz Tokkan got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Atakan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Demiralp Tanbay came free, but Erol Dilazad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ali Kürşat Yılğıralp came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Atakan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Kürşat Yılğıralp couldn't finish the play. Demiralp Tanbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Erol Dilazad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erol Dilazad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürbüz Tokkan in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Carsamba SK got a corner. Atakan FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anıl Cenk Süvarioğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Carsamba SK's Anıl Cenk Süvarioğlu to fire away a dangerous shot which Erol Dilazad despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Erol Dilazad was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Demiralp Tanbay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Demiralp Tanbay really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 71st minute, Carsamba SK's Tevfik Latif seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tevfik Latif the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carsamba SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tevfik Latif had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Atakan FC. Emran Yöntem stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Balamir Erdem. 1-1. After having played for 76 minutes, Batuğ Uçanay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atakan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batuğ Uçanay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atakan FC's Erol Dilazad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Atakan FC from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd match minute, Atakan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umut Battal to maneuver through the defense. Carsamba SK's Celalettin Bilek got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Atakan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Demiralp Tanbay came free, but Erol Dilazad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batuğ Uçanay charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batuğ Uçanay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carsamba SK booed when Atakan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuğ Uçanay didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
