The Kigi JK fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Kigi JK's Metehan Değirmencioğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mehmet Arif Heybetli took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdurrahman Oyal. Abdurrahman Oyal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 57th minute Alkın Uzsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamuran Ulağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Petkim SK's Alkın Uzsoy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kamuran Ulağ. That made the score 2-2 after 82 minutes of play. 3-2 became the score in the 90th minute when Rafettin Nebi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Rafettin Nebi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kigi JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafettin Nebi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdurrahman Oyal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Kigi JK's Kamuran Ulağ got control of the ball when Anıl Berk Kökşin tried to sneak it across the goal line.
