An unexpectedly hard shot by Özkan Serol in the 6th minute of play forced Corlu's goalkeeper Naci Tanzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Türker Bilen got free with Özen Ergüvenç in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gürhan Sargan struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Naci Tanzer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fethiyespor. Naci Tanzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özkan Serol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özkan Serol in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naci Tanzer saved Corlu from getting behind. In the 42ndth minute of the game Özkan Serol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corlu's Naci Tanzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Fadıl Tecer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özkan Serol in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naci Tanzer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Özkan Serol made a kick off.
