Cengelköy JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Sabit Kudret scored to the left of an out of position Atilla Bumin Dertsiz, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cengelköy JK's zone, Sabit Kudret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Bumin Dertsiz came out of the goal and Sabit Kudret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mümtaz Buminhan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Orhan Refettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cengelköy JK.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Ömür Üstam to make the kick off. With a little luck, Izmit's Orhan Refettin got control of the ball when Mümtaz Buminhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmet Ömür Üstam scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orhan Refettin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orhan Refettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ömür Üstam in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Cengelköy JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Izmit.
