Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gürel Kaynak in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Birsel Sabuncuoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 27 minutes, Ata Ongut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midyat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ata Ongut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Battal Seyyit Şirvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Demirman in the 33rd minute of play. Ata Ongut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-2 became the score in the 38th minute when Ferdi Demirman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Ata Ongut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Battal Seyyit Şirvan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ata Ongut, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Battal Seyyit Şirvan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midyat. RNTK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Midyat the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, RNTK's goalkeeper Battal Seyyit Şirvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ata Ongut. Midyat's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
