The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hakem Khaja got free with Mustafa Oğuz Topay in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berk Özgiray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Mustafa Oğuz Topay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Hakem Khaja notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rome FC's Mustafa Oğuz Topay. Mustafa Oğuz Topay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oğuzkan Vafi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rome FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marek Solarek was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Pınarbaşı's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Bongbong Trumms drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Rome FC's goalkeeper. With his leg Mustafa Oğuz Topay managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when FC Pınarbaşı's Hakem Khaja fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Rome FC's Fatih Tolunay got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes FC Pınarbaşı got a freekick which was hit by Hakem Khaja. Aşır Cantekin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Selimhan Onul, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gökmen Boztepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rome FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökmen Boztepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aşır Cantekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes in the game, Berk Özgiray fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mustafa Oğuz Topay having to interfere. Hakem Khaja hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Berk Özgiray was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rome FC's Mustafa Oğuz Topay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Rome FC from getting a goal against them. If Berk Özgiray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berk Özgiray received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mustafa Oğuz Topay came out and tried to block the shot, but Berk Özgiray slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hakem Khaja was the one to do the kick off. Ramiz Taş hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Berk Özgiray scored 5-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mustafa Oğuz Topay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Rome FC defense, Berk Özgiray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Oğuz Topay. The Rome FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Oğuz Topay should have stopped the shot. Åge Mohn made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ramiz Taş immediately put the ball in play. When FC Pınarbaşı's Hakem Khaja in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rome FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Rome FC booed when FC Pınarbaşı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berk Özgiray didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Berk Özgiray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Pınarbaşı fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Mustafa Oğuz Topay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakem Khaja in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cüneyt Tekinalp in the 93rd minute of play forced FC Pınarbaşı's goalkeeper Aşır Cantekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hakem Khaja in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Oğuz Topay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Pınarbaşı's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
