Ankara JK's Asrın Uluğ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ankara JK from getting a goal against them. Ziemowit Glogowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Buteau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Asrın Uluğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Erdem Ersed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asrın Uluğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ziemowit Glogowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asrın Uluğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ziemowit Glogowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdem Ersed in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asrın Uluğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29thth minute of the game Erdem Ersed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ankara JK's Asrın Uluğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gayrettepe FK's Erdem Ersed was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Erdem Ersed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Rüştü Teksoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ankara JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gayrettepe FK the free kick. After 40 played minutes Ankara JK got a freekick which was hit by Rüştü Teksoy. In the 48th minute Erdem Ersed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asrın Uluğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rüştü Teksoy made a kick off. Erdem Ersed's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asrın Uluğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Erdem Ersed notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ankara JK's Asrın Uluğ. Asrın Uluğ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erdem Ersed took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Asrın Uluğ. Asrın Uluğ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erdem Ersed in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asrın Uluğ saved Ankara JK from getting behind. In the 94thth minute of the game Erdem Ersed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ankara JK's Asrın Uluğ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gayrettepe FK had played much better football throughout.
