In the 6th minute, Egemen Özgu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Egemen Özgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamdi Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Egemen Özgu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bursaspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egemen Özgu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bursaspor FK's Baran Işıldar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bursaspor FK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC BAŞKURT's zone, Egemen Özgu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamdi Sena came out of the goal and Egemen Özgu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC BAŞKURT defense, Halis Kartal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hamdi Sena. The FC BAŞKURT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hamdi Sena should have stopped the shot. Halis Kartal struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Hamdi Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursaspor FK. Egemen Özgu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ekrem Özguc during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ekrem Özguc kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Fatih Oksu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serter Ongu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Baran Işıldar made a huge save. Bursaspor FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Halis Kartal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamdi Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute of the match Abdurrezzak Beysan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamdi Sena skillfully saved the ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih Oksu in the 52nd minute of play forced Bursaspor FK's goalkeeper Baran Işıldar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Halis Kartal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Hamdi Sena made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Bursaspor FK's Egemen Özgu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Egemen Özgu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Bursaspor FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC BAŞKURT's zone, Halis Kartal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamdi Sena came out of the goal and Halis Kartal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şahin Sati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egemen Özgu succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. In the 83rd minute, Abdi Necati hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egemen Özgu in the 86th minute of play forced FC BAŞKURT's goalkeeper Hamdi Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinçer Akdiken during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC BAŞKURT were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Bursaspor FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mert Sarıoğlu took the corner.
