Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mehmet Şefik Saik kicked off to start the match. Doğuş Özbilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer having to interfere. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğuş Özbilen in the 18th minute of the match. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soner Ersezer in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Doğuş Özbilen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer. Kemerburgaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doğuş Özbilen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Kemerburgaz's Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Şefik Saik in the 34th minute of play. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Şefik Saik in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğuş Özbilen in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Recai Kalagay to make the kick off. Doğuş Özbilen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 minutes, Seyfettin Erozan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kemerburgaz and the Istinye players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 minutes of play, Istinye's Doğuş Özbilen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doğuş Özbilen struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istinye. Atahan Samih came free in the 68th minute and tried to tip the ball over Yavuz Selim Tanır, but to the joy of Istinye's supporters the ball went over. In the 71st minute of the match, Mehmet Şefik Saik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Şefik Saik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Şefik Saik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ahmet Hamdi Mengüer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
