The score was 1-1 after a penalty in the 10th minute, where ARSENAL:s Hıncal Kocaalp tricked Resadiye:s Batur İpek with a difficult ball by the left post. İsmet Şafakgün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batıray Benli in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tolunay İpekçi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Resadiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolunay İpekçi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmet Şafakgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Resadiye got a freekick which was hit by Zeki Turan. Yavuzalp Şaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Batur İpek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu's late challenge caught a ARSENAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cengiz Süvarioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. If Mustafa Şensoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ARSENAL's İsmet Şafakgün proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save ARSENAL from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Resadiye's Peyami Piruz got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sezai Keyhüsrev during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sezai Keyhüsrev hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Resadiye's Cavit Hanedan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ARSENAL. ARSENAL succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Resadiye had controlled the match.
