FENERBAHÇE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Üzeyir Üke in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on FENERBAHÇE's corner Üzeyir Üke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Müslüm Tan quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Müslüm Tan managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when FENERBAHÇE's Demiralp Ergalip fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kürşat Bal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencalp Usluer in the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demiralp Ergalip in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Müslüm Tan saved beşiktAŞK from getting behind. FENERBAHÇE's Halit Fahri Maksum got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halit Fahri Maksum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Müslüm Tan having to make a save. 68 minutes into the game, Arif Tugay Tayfun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
