Nazmi Refet hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Saltuk Felek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkan Türköz having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Tahtakale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cenan Özenli to maneuver through the defense. Tahtakale's Baykam Durualp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Tahtakale from getting a goal against them. Baykam Durualp was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Nurettin Okcan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nurettin Okcan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The supporters of Tahtakale booed when İSTANBULLS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaman Tura didn't get a good kick on the ball. The İSTANBULLS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berkan Türköz should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Saltuk Felek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berkan Türköz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bumin Zafer in the 94th minute of play forced Tahtakale's goalkeeper Baykam Durualp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saltuk Felek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Berkan Türköz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tahtakale were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing İSTANBULLS FC to leave the ground with a draw.
