In the 17th minute, Yavuzalp Burçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Yenisehir JK booed when Köycegiz SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dursun Ali Sunullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedir Eyüp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Köycegiz SK's zone, Cenap Tekindağ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedir Eyüp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eyüp Tuğyan having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sait İmren during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute of the match Yenisehir JK got a corner. Köycegiz SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nizam Öztanır ran over to the corner to take the kick. Yavuzalp Burçhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alkın Özbilen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yenisehir JK's Abdulaziz Hazret got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cenap Tekindağ made a kick off. Cenap Tekindağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eyüp Tuğyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eyüp Tuğyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenap Tekindağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Yenisehir JK had played much better football throughout.
