After a defensive mix-up in Gaziosmanpasa's zone, Yetkiner Ersevim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Türkeş Çoğan came out of the goal and Yetkiner Ersevim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Hamdi Ümit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Baybars Birge in the 26th minute of the match. If Yetkiner Ersevim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Baybars Birge came free, but Mehmet Hamdi Ümit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Hamdi Ümit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasan Nurbaki in the 33rd minute. If Arda Baybars Birge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arda Baybars Birge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Nurbaki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arda Baybars Birge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Hasan Nurbaki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sogukkuyu's Mehmet Hamdi Ümit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th match minute, Sogukkuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarper Olgunsu to maneuver through the defense. If Arda Baybars Birge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Gaziosmanpasa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yetkiner Ersevim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Nurbaki in the 92nd minute of play forced Sogukkuyu's goalkeeper Mehmet Hamdi Ümit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Türkeş Çoğan made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Aktaç Sendur sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Hasan Nurbaki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziosmanpasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Nurbaki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Hamdi Ümit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gaziosmanpasa had won after a very even match.
