In the 7thth minute of the game Yıldıray Ağar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erdek's Cumali Çağili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Bülent Sadri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktan Torum having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erbatur Tokel during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 18 minutes into the match, Erdek's Mahmut İmren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ahmet Bülent Sadri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cumali Çağili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tayyip Çile in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Yıldıray Ağar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göktan Torum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamdi Paye in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Selcuklu getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Hasan Serir hit a great ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Yıldıray Ağar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erdek's Cumali Çağili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

In the 51st minute, Samim Ülkem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Fazlı Vahip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktan Torum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Bülent Sadri in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göktan Torum saved Selcuklu from getting behind. After having played for 66 minutes, Ahmet Bülent Sadri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erdek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Bülent Sadri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Erdek's Ahmet Bülent Sadri got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Yıldıray Ağar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayyip Çile's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cumali Çağili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Tayyip Çile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes Erdek got a freekick which was hit by Mahmut İmren. Yıldıray Ağar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Selcuklu fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Selcuklu's Tayyip Çile looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Göktan Torum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Sadri in the 91st minute of play. Fazlı Vahip scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göktan Torum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Selcuklu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Erdek.
