Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tolga Durna got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Kale's Ali Ömer Demirtekin got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Kutlay Soysaltürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutlay Soysaltürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güral Dirayet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Mansur Bozkurt came free, but Müfit Dölek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reha Vasif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Dölek having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Sertel Bala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kale the free kick. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sertel Bala hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Reha Vasif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Dölek came out of the goal and Reha Vasif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY's Altay Özveren got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Reha Vasif came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Kale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reha Vasif couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute of the match Lemi Özkok sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Müfit Dölek skillfully saved the ball. Mansur Bozkurt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reha Vasif came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Kale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reha Vasif couldn't finish the play. If Tolga Durna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kale's Güral Dirayet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kale from getting a goal against them. GALATASARAY's Cevahir Hedef was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Güral Dirayet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolga Durna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Güral Dirayet. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mansur Bozkurt made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Kale got a corner. GALATASARAY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zekeriya Balkoç ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mansur Bozkurt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Nusrettin Oksu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Mansur Bozkurt charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mansur Bozkurt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Kale got a freekick which was hit by Mansur Bozkurt. When Reha Vasif came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Kale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reha Vasif couldn't finish the play. Kutlay Soysaltürk struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Güral Dirayet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. 72 minutes into the match, Tolga Durna notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Kale's Güral Dirayet. Güral Dirayet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Güral Dirayet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolga Durna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Kale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nusrettin Oksu to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Tolga Durna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güral Dirayet. Kale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolga Durna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tolga Durna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GALATASARAY's Kutlay Soysaltürk got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Kale's Nusrettin Oksu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Müfit Dölek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. If Reha Vasif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mansur Bozkurt struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Müfit Dölek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kale. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kale players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GALATASARAY.
