The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selim Sungurtekin charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Selim Sungurtekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Formy getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Selim Sungurtekin hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Demirhan Özbekkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cafer Yalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Solhan SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Lidman came free, but Necmi Server reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Cafer Yalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Palmisano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Fevzi Yücesan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinç Önateş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Palmisano having to interfere. Solhan SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Tom Lidman scored to the left of an out of position Necmi Server, making the score, 1-0. In the 46th minute, Vahit Terzioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinç Önateş made a kick off. Solhan SK's Necmi Server played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Lidman in the 52nd minute of play. Tom Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Necmi Server tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Necmi Server showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Necmi Server showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Lidman in the 65th minute of the match. Dinç Önateş kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tom Lidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Solhan SK's Necmi Server played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vahit Terzioğlu in the 74th minute of play. Cafer Yalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Palmisano having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Tom Lidman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Solhan SK's Necmi Server was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, Tom Lidman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Cafer Yalman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solhan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafer Yalman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cafer Yalman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Palmisano having to interfere. Solhan SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
