An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulki Yertan in the 13th minute of play forced Balikesir's goalkeeper Ulaş Usman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacek Kondysar had several of the Balikesir's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Ulaş Usman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jacek Kondysar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of MANCHASTER UNITED booed when Balikesir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktaç Abdulhakimoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute Berk Akpolat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulaş Usman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Polatkılıç in the 24th minute of the match. Jacek Kondysar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulaş Usman having to interfere. If Müslüm Biçimli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Jacek Kondysar lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Ulaş Usman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacek Kondysar in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulaş Usman saved Balikesir from getting behind. Jacek Kondysar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulaş Usman having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacek Kondysar to make the kick off. Ferit Müşfik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu having to interfere. Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Namık Polatkılıç in the 54th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, MANCHASTER UNITED's Jacek Kondysar made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulaş Usman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacek Kondysar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aşık Umman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu having to interfere. Namık Polatkılıç hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Atay Beyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MANCHASTER UNITED's Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save MANCHASTER UNITED from getting a goal against them. Ulaş Usman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacek Kondysar's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Ulaş Usman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Kondysar in the 80th minute of the match. Müslüm Biçimli struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ulaş Usman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANCHASTER UNITED. Aşık Umman came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu could save by the left post. In the 88th minute, Hulki Yertan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Berkan Yenal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu skillfully saved the ball. Aşık Umman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, MANCHASTER UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Namık Polatkılıç came free, but Ahmet Fikret Balkanlıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
