The referee ignored Besikdüzü's protests and gave Yiğit Yaves a yellow card for diving instead. Yiğit Yaves kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Kavak JK booed when Besikdüzü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hasan Tahsin Durusan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Besikdüzü's Hafız Rüştü slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Umur Ömür. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. In the 41st match minute, Kavak JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okanalp Dizdar to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabri Sadreddin was the one to do the kick off. Hafız Rüştü struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Umur Ömür didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Besikdüzü. Besikdüzü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hafız Rüştü was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kavak JK's Umur Ömür played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Sönmezalp in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Hafız Rüştü managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besikdüzü's supporters rose to their feet, but Hafız Rüştü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umur Ömür breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
