With a little luck, Özalp SK's Gürcan Ayman got control of the ball when Sermet Akil tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Vefik Yurdaşen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yetkiner Başkur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gürcan Ayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Vefik Yurdaşen might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atilla Özan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Vefik Yurdaşen ran back to his position shaking his head. Atilla Özan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ziya Hasret in the 65th minute. Yetkiner Başkur's late challenge caught a Özalp SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 85 played minutes, Özalp SK's Cevat Şahkar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atilla Özan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Özalp SK reached it. In the 87th minute, Cevat Şahkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Koray Şahbazoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürcan Ayman skillfully saved the ball.
