In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Özvatan JK's goalkeeper Seyrani İnceman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nedas Makštutis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Askale FK got a freekick which was hit by Yakup İhya. Seyrani İnceman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Tunçbilek in the 17th minute of play. The Özvatan JK fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Özvatan JK's Nedas Makštutis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Özvatan JK's Tunç Tolgan got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Saadettin Samir fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Özvatan JK's protests and gave Saadettin Samir a yellow card for diving instead. The Askale FK fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Askale FK's Hasan Tunçbilek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Çakır Yunus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özvatan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baykam Ergökmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Türker Albay might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demir Orsan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Türker Albay ran back to his position shaking his head. Özvatan JK's Seyrani İnceman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakır Yunus in the 65th minute of play. Demir Orsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedas Makštutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Seyrani İnceman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yakup İhya went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Özvatan JK's Türker Albay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demir Orsan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Baykam Ergökmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
