Ahmet Seyfi Bozer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Enginsu Başkur made a huge save. Alpertunga Bahçeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Enginsu Başkur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ÇiTLiKYUNAYTID's Doğuş Özkutal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mirkelam Sedat in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When Alpertunga Bahçeli came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ÇiTLiKYUNAYTID fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alpertunga Bahçeli couldn't finish the play. Alpertunga Bahçeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Feyzullay Atlıhan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Savaşer Tokhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. ECEM's supporters rose to their feet, but Savaşer Tokhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğuş Özkutal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Savaşer Tokhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğuş Özkutal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, ÇiTLiKYUNAYTID could leave the field as winners, despite ECEM having more of the ball for most of the match.
