Szczepan Borucki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gazanfer Özcan Ubeydullah went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Ali Numan Korucu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Baybars Yağızalp was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ali Çağrı Ünverdi. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Arda Baybars Yağızalp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Yakut Zeyni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Arda Baybars Yağızalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Can Ispartalı kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Gazanfer Özcan Ubeydullah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAMSUNSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gazanfer Özcan Ubeydullah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yakut Zeyni in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Baybars Yağızalp saved SAMSUNSPOR from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Can Ispartalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Baybars Yağızalp had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Yakut Zeyni from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Yakut Zeynis short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Arda Baybars Yağızalp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Heitor Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Arda Baybars Yağızalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipsala SK. 38 minutes into the match, SAMSUNSPOR's goalkeeper Arda Baybars Yağızalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heitor Gaspar. Heitor Gaspar scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arda Baybars Yağızalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of SAMSUNSPOR booed when Ipsala SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakut Zeyni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Gökalp Sayın managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAMSUNSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökalp Sayın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Szczepan Borucki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Yakut Zeyni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Baybars Yağızalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arda Baybars Yağızalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heitor Gaspar in the 62nd minute of the match. If Gazanfer Özcan Ubeydullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gazanfer Özcan Ubeydullah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Szczepan Borucki having to make a save. 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Heitor Gaspar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, SAMSUNSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökalp Sayın to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. When Aykan Radi fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipsala SK's protests and gave Aykan Radi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ipsala SK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aykan Radi hit a great ball.
