Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute of the match, Hüseyin Cahit Ruhsan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kadir Kavi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Zekai Taif managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozüyük SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Zekai Taif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emin Başbuğ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emin Başbuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadir Kavi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Burak Akdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Zekai Taif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arif Burak Akdemir to make the kick off. Emin Başbuğ was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. With his leg Emin Başbuğ managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Bozüyük SK's Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 63rd minute of the match Arda Umur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emin Başbuğ skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Zekai Taif's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emin Başbuğ was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bozüyük SK reached it. If Zekai Taif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bozüyük SK's Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 79 minutes, Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozüyük SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Hüseyin Cahit Ruhsan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Besikitas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A hard shot by Bilgehan Ymren from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Emin Başbuğ's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as Zekai Taif kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emin Başbuğ. That made the score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emin Başbuğ. Besikitas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Necip Fazıl Hallaçoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
