The Caucasus SK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Caucasus SK's Erkan Çanak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 24th minute Affan Ruçhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürbüz Harzemşah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Affan Ruçhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Affan Ruçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tekin Yetener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkan Çanak in the 32nd minute of the match. Abayhan Ulualp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Galatasaray 1905 SK's Abayhan Ulualp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray 1905 SK's zone, Erkan Çanak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tekin Yetener came out of the goal and Erkan Çanak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Erkan Çanak made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Abayhan Ulualp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caucasus SK's Gürbüz Harzemşah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hadi Egin might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tekin Yetener. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hadi Egin ran back to his position shaking his head. Tekin Yetener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Çanak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes of play, Galatasaray 1905 SK's Affan Ruçhan made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gürbüz Harzemşah was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd match minute, Galatasaray 1905 SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erhun Ezrak to maneuver through the defense. Caucasus SK's Cavit Belek shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tekin Yetener but with some difficulty. The referee ignored Caucasus SK's protests and gave Balamir Özpinar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caucasus SK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Balamir Özpinar hit a great ball. Abayhan Ulualp scored 4-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gürbüz Harzemşah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray 1905 SK's Erdeniz Kınıkaslan got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkan Çanak in the 78th minute of play forced Galatasaray 1905 SK's goalkeeper Tekin Yetener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes, Cavit Belek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caucasus SK and the Galatasaray 1905 SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Erkan Çanak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tekin Yetener was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
