Vítor Bahy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. OakenfolD's Ali Orhan Gündeş quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fehmi Yalçınkaya, made in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of galatasaray booed when OakenfolD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Nezih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Birol Zevahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Bahy having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, OakenfolD's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Birol Zevahir came free, but Vítor Bahy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind galatasaray's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Yaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Özal Bakırcıoğlu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. OakenfolD's Zosimo Calenga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Birol Zevahir in the 25th minute of play forced OakenfolD's goalkeeper Vítor Bahy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Bahy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıdvan Akkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulbaki Yaldırak kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rıdvan Akkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Rıdvan Akkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Bahy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zosimo Calenga in the 45th minute of play forced galatasaray's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Yaves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The OakenfolD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. galatasaray were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Birol Zevahir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, galatasaray's Berke Esenboğa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Bahy was left in no man's land by his defense there! OakenfolD's Vítor Bahy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Birol Zevahir in the 57th minute of play. Derya Acıbadem succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 58th playminute. 61 minutes into the match, Mustafa Birol Zevahir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Bahy, 0-4. 66 minutes into the game, Rıdvan Akkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OakenfolD the free kick. Zosimo Calenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to OakenfolD getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Yavuz Nezih hit a great ball. With a little luck, OakenfolD's Vítor Bahy got control of the ball when Rıdvan Akkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute, Özal Bakırcıoğlu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vítor Bahy. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 84th minute, galatasaray's Mustafa Birol Zevahir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Rıdvan Akkan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Vítor Bahy made a huge save. OakenfolD's Vítor Bahy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save OakenfolD from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Birol Zevahir received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vítor Bahy came out and tried to block the shot, but Mustafa Birol Zevahir slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Mustafa Birol Zevahir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched galatasaray eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
