Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ziya Ortaçgil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Talip Yiğitkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kudret Hafi in the 5th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Ziya Ortaçgil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serter Özender, 1-0. Pamukkale's Talip Yiğitkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudret Hafi in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Karagümrük FK got a corner. Pamukkale's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karadeniz Yavuzhan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Karagümrük FK defense, Özkan Yayalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serter Özender. The Karagümrük FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serter Özender should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Pamukkale's goal looked a bit too open when Kudret Hafi came free, but Talip Yiğitkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talip Yiğitkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şentürk Erenoz in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Karagümrük FK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Erdeniz Üçok hit a great ball. Ziya Ortaçgil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Serter Özender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kudret Hafi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ziya Ortaçgil in the 55th minute of play forced Karagümrük FK's goalkeeper Serter Özender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serter Özender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özkan Yayalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 65 minutes, Özkan Yayalp made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karagümrük FK's Serter Özender tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Karagümrük FK's Talip Yiğitkan threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kudret Hafi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 73 minutes, Özkan Yayalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pamukkale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özkan Yayalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serter Özender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ziya Ortaçgil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pamukkale's Talip Yiğitkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kudret Hafi in the 80th minute of play. If Özkan Yayalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Pamukkale's Özkan Yayalp fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Serter Özender was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pamukkale fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karagümrük FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
