Gökalp Eryildiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tevfik Mümtaz in the 7th minute of the match. Ömer Rıza Ömer struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Gökalp Eryildiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Kadri İley during the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ömer Rıza Ömer in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Binali Şafak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, one of AYDINEVLERSK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AYDINEVLERSK. Gökalp Eryildiz came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kocatepe SK's Olcay Günay. But to his dismay, Olcay Günay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Haluk Tuncel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tevfik Mümtaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haluk Tuncel scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gökalp Eryildiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Behlül Suhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Semail Hürkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Behlül Suhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nurtekin İncesu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tevfik Mümtaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, AYDINEVLERSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurtekin İncesu to maneuver through the defense. Murathan Özarı kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Behlül Suhan fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AYDINEVLERSK's protests and gave Behlül Suhan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kocatepe SK booed when AYDINEVLERSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behlül Suhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kocatepe SK's Olcay Günay shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gökalp Eryildiz but with some difficulty. Kocatepe SK's Haluk Tuncel got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Behlül Suhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kocatepe SK's Ekrem Tekay got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Nurtekin İncesu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semail Hürkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Behlül Suhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binali Şafak having to interfere.
