Mehmet Ali Gence ran back to his position shaking his head. Rüstem Bekata charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rüstem Bekata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Güzelyali fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Yusuf Bahadır Uzman went to the wrong direction when Rahim Tanyeri was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Güzelyali's zone, Süleyman Olguner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yusuf Bahadır Uzman came out of the goal and Süleyman Olguner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Ali Gence took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yusuf Bahadır Uzman. Yusuf Bahadır Uzman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Genc fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Genc's Mehmet Ali Gence looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arda Baybars Onguner to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Doğuhan Pekergin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yusuf Bahadır Uzman. The goal made the score 0-3. After having played for 77 minutes, Süleyman Olguner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süleyman Olguner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Genc booed when Güzelyali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Baybars Onguner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yusuf Bahadır Uzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süleyman Olguner in the 86th minute of play. Mehmet Ali Gence could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Yusuf Bahadır Uzman made a huge save. Süleyman Olguner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Yusuf Bahadır Uzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Güzelyali got a freekick which was hit by Rüstem Bekata. After having played for 92 minutes, Süleyman Olguner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Genc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süleyman Olguner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Süleyman Olguner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genc's supporters rose to their feet, but Süleyman Olguner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yusuf Bahadır Uzman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
