The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Belen's Kerimhan Yazgı got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Müfit Babürşah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Osman Kuluk in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kerimhan Yazgı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabahattin Karabey was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. A collision led to Altinekin getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Salih Uğursel hit a great ball. Belen's Müfit Babürşah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Osman Kuluk in the 17th minute of play. If Tuncay Adaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Belen's zone, Mehmet Osman Kuluk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Babürşah came out of the goal and Mehmet Osman Kuluk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Altinekin got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Osman Kuluk. If Şaban Özenli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Altinekin's goalkeeper Sabahattin Karabey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şaban Özenli. Tuncay Adaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Babürşah having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Mehmet Osman Kuluk notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Belen's Müfit Babürşah. Müfit Babürşah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mehmet Osman Kuluk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Babürşah having to interfere. Kerimhan Yazgı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sabahattin Karabey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Müfit Babürşah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncay Adaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şaban Özenli struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sabahattin Karabey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belen. The Belen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Altinekin were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mehmet Osman Kuluk was the one to do the kick off. Müfit Babürşah made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Tuncay Adaş sent off a good shot on target. If Şaban Özenli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altinekin's Sabahattin Karabey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şaban Özenli in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Altinekin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasim Şahbaz to maneuver through the defense. Baransel Sabri, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Mehmet Osman Kuluk came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Altinekin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Osman Kuluk couldn't finish the play. Şaban Özenli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Sabahattin Karabey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sabahattin Karabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şaban Özenli in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Altinekin's Anıl Berk Öktemer got a free kick in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerimhan Yazgı in the 80th minute of play forced Altinekin's goalkeeper Sabahattin Karabey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Kerimhan Yazgı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabahattin Karabey. Altinekin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kerimhan Yazgı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After having played for 85 minutes, Tuncay Adaş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altinekin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuncay Adaş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Altinekin's attack was well implemented in the 87th minute, but when Mehmet Osman Kuluk was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, Belen's Namık Kemal Bahçeli got a free kick in the 91st minute. Müfit Babürşah was a little too slow when Mehmet Osman Kuluk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-3. With a little luck, Belen's Müfit Babürşah got control of the ball when Tuncay Adaş tried to sneak it across the goal line.
