Altinekin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yeniköy SK the free kick. Engin Doğan took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabahattin Karabey. Sabahattin Karabey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Mehmet Osman Kuluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dündar Kahveci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engin Doğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes, Şensoy Bekiroğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yeniköy SK and the Altinekin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şensoy Bekiroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Fethi Sanih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altinekin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fethi Sanih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Altinekin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fethi Sanih to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Altinekin's zone, Şensoy Bekiroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabahattin Karabey came out of the goal and Şensoy Bekiroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Yeniköy SK's Engin Doğan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabahattin Karabey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dündar Kahveci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuncay Adaş in the 31st minute. If Mehmet Osman Kuluk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mehmet Osman Kuluk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dündar Kahveci having to interfere. Altinekin's Anıl Berk Öktemer got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Anıl Berk Öktemer off the ground. After a rather tough play, Altinekin's Anıl Berk Öktemer got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Tuncay Adaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dündar Kahveci. Yeniköy SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuncay Adaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Engin Doğan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Engin Doğan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabahattin Karabey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Şensoy Bekiroğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Sabahattin Karabey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Yeniköy SK booed when Altinekin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Osman Kuluk didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Şensoy Bekiroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Engin Doğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabahattin Karabey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tuncay Adaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dündar Kahveci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Engin Doğan in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabahattin Karabey saved Altinekin from getting behind. Mehmet Osman Kuluk kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With his leg Sabahattin Karabey managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Yeniköy SK's Engin Doğan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 91 minutes into the game, Tuncay Adaş cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dündar Kahveci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Altinekin fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yeniköy SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
