KANARYA SK's Hidayet Üçok got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kutlay Cansefa hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Kutlay Cansefa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as KANARYA SK's Tanju Serkut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Çağatay Akçam. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. Hidayet Üçok spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Kilis's goal. Kutlay Cansefa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Baran Bilge Usbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yunus Sarı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanju Serkut might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Çağatay Akçam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kutlay Cansefa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Kilis defense, Tanju Serkut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Çağatay Akçam. The Kilis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Çağatay Akçam should have stopped the shot. The KANARYA SK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
