Cayetano Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Selcuklu's Işıkalp Özdoa got control of the ball when Cayetano Dominguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Işıkalp Özdoa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cayetano Dominguez sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Feyzullay Akbuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

But to his dismay, Cayetano Dominguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Işıkalp Özdoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Encho Kanazirev in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şerafettin Uzkan got free with Mustafa Hakan Hacıahmetoğlu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
