Kirikhan SK's Durmuş Sevgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünal Çoğa in the 12th minute of play. If Erbatur Yazganalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for YEŞİL DENİZSPOR! Selman Vefai shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Aktaç Tunçkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devlet Durualp, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes, Ahmet Nasir Uzkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the YEŞİL DENİZSPOR and the Kirikhan SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, YEŞİL DENİZSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Nasir Uzkan to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of YEŞİL DENİZSPOR booed when Kirikhan SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Taşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durmuş Sevgen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ünal Çoğa made a kick off. After some careless play in the YEŞİL DENİZSPOR defense, Devlet Durualp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aktaç Tunçkaya. The YEŞİL DENİZSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aktaç Tunçkaya should have stopped the shot. Güney Açıkgün's late challenge caught a YEŞİL DENİZSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Güney Açıkgün helped the player get up and apologised. Aktaç Tunçkaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlet Durualp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Kirikhan SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
