Özer Sayrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Kahveci in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Nurhak FK booed when Burgazada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fazıl Taykut didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baturalp Çetiner in the 8th minute of play forced Nurhak FK's goalkeeper Şimşek Uçbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burgazada's Cashel Robinson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şimşek Uçbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Egemen Oğuz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Gürol Dirican sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Nurhak FK. Ayvaz Erbaş stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Özer Sayrak. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Doğa Eğilmez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Şimşek Uçbay. After 32 played minutes Nurhak FK got a freekick which was hit by Gürsel Balta. Şimşek Uçbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cashel Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cashel Robinson to strike the kick off in the second half. Şimşek Uçbay made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Cashel Robinson sent off a good shot on target. Özer Sayrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdülhak Malkoçoğlu went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With his leg Şimşek Uçbay managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Burgazada's Cashel Robinson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 60 played minutes Nurhak FK got a freekick which was hit by Batuğ Bilgen. Cashel Robinson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Şimşek Uçbay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Batuğ Bilgen charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batuğ Bilgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cashel Robinsons short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Şimşek Uçbay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Egemen Oğuz in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şimşek Uçbay saved Nurhak FK from getting behind. Doğa Eğilmez in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Şimşek Uçbay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Cashel Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 77 in the game by Cashel Robinson from a close distance when the talented Şimşek Uçbay managed to make a qualified save. Nurhak FK's players were relieved. Doğa Eğilmez might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şimşek Uçbay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doğa Eğilmez ran back to his position shaking his head. Cashel Robinson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şimşek Uçbay having to make a save. In the 81st minute, Arif Egemen Oğuz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cashel Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Şimşek Uçbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doğa Eğilmez got free with Şimşek Uçbay in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burgazada played a much better game than Nurhak FK and deserved their victory. The Nurhak FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
