In the 30th match minute, Toon Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Emre Bedük to maneuver through the defense. After 36 played minutes Toon Army got a freekick which was hit by Saffet Başkaya. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resul Seylab got free with Hatemi Erbatur in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Saffet Başkaya sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Hatemi Erbatur threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Saffet Başkaya this time. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hatemi Erbatur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Resul Seylab, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nedim Bozok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hatemi Erbatur. Tellibaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Nedim Bozok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Resul Seylab hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Fikri Yetişbey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sezgin Adahan. Toon Army's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saltuk Sayılgan got free with Sezgin Adahan in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play, Toon Army's Resul Seylab made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hatemi Erbatur was left in no man's land by his defense there!
