Öztürk Malkoçoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Uca having to interfere. Hadi Uğurel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Uca having to interfere. Hadi Uğurel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Tahsin Uca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tahsin Uca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tahsin Uca acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Menderes Onurkan. In the 35th minute, Öztürk Malkoçoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Gebzespor getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Muammer Duyar hit a great ball. If Nedim Şakib had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Macit Kantürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. İZMİRSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Macit Kantürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tahsin Uca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinu Banu fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 61st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 64thth minute of the game Öztürk Malkoçoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gebzespor's Tahsin Uca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Menderes Onurkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahsin Uca skillfully saved the ball. Tahsin Uca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Öztürk Malkoçoğlu went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. İZMİRSPOR's Tuncay Cemre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save İZMİRSPOR from getting a goal against them. Öztürk Malkoçoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tahsin Uca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Menderes Onurkan put in a rough tackle. 86 minutes into the game, one of İZMİRSPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Orhun Tanın placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 91st minute Osman Ali Şahistan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tahsin Uca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. İZMİRSPOR had played much better football throughout.
