Spectators: 7209 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) ankara's Erdal İplikçi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the GLGRHN defense, Mustafa Emrah Akkurt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erman Demir. The GLGRHN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erman Demir should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezmi Ömer during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ankara's Cezmi Ömer got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ersan Mansur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Emrah Akkurt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erman Demir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Baran Alp Ekinci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GLGRHN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ankara the free kick. In the 31st minute Baran Alp Ekinci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Yöner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ankara's zone, Baran Alp Ekinci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sefa Yöner came out of the goal and Baran Alp Ekinci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aktaç Zati hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ankara's Fikret Başar got a free kick in the 37th minute. Erdal İplikçi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Erman Demir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 48 minutes of play ankara's Cezmi Ömer was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 48th minute, Cezmi Ömer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 56th minute, Mustafa Emrah Akkurt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sefa Yöner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ersan Mansur in the 60th minute. Baran Alp Ekinci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Baran Alp Ekinci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GLGRHN's Umut Yener got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Uğurcan Saruca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ankara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GLGRHN the free kick. Sefa Yöner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaman Balkır, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. GLGRHN's Alpertunga Gökkır got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the GLGRHN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ankara.
