The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galerya's Fazıl Hüsnü Yetişbey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Rakiewicz in the 15th minute of play. If Janusz Rakiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Holub who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Fazıl Hüsnü Yetişbey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd minute, Gökçe Karabulut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janusz Rakiewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fazıl Hüsnü Yetişbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cafer Songur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mesudiye SK's Ahmet Tolga Tozun. Ahmet Tolga Tozun was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Gökçe Karabulut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
