The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Bornova JK's Eşref Ergüden got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Mehmet Şefik Topçam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pekin Mertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin Tezeren having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Pekin Mertol made a precise shot to the right of Saadettin Tezeren. Abidinpasa SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekin Mertol in the 35th minute of play forced Abidinpasa SK's goalkeeper Saadettin Tezeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pekin Mertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saadettin Tezeren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korkutalp Merih's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Saadettin Tezeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korkutalp Merih in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Kaan Baturalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Kaan Baturalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Abidinpasa SK's Saadettin Tezeren got control of the ball when Pekin Mertol tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Ulu Aşık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Şefik Topçam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sümer Tavgaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Kaan Baturalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 93 played minutes Abidinpasa SK got a freekick which was hit by Halit Fahri Derim. Bornova JK's Pekin Mertol got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korkutalp Merih got free with Saadettin Tezeren in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Abidinpasa SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bornova JK's performance. The match ended with a win for Bornova JK.
