Serbülent Urza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıdvan Yılkan in the 5th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Eskisehir's Aytek Sakman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serbülent Urza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berkem Samil's late challenge caught a Eskisehir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berkem Samil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Değirmenköy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkem Samil to maneuver through the defense. Aytek Sakman scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serbülent Urza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Ali Erdem Aktaşlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Değirmenköy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Serbülent Urza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atıf Baydar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serbülent Urza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytek Sakman in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Eskisehir's Mehmet Oğuz Suersan got control of the ball when Ahmet Fikret Vatansever tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Mürsel Başaran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serbülent Urza. Değirmenköy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mürsel Başaran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The Değirmenköy FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eskisehir were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sufi Ceylan was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytek Sakman got free with Serbülent Urza in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mürsel Başaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Eskisehir booed when Değirmenköy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Fikret Vatansever didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Serbülent Urza managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Eskisehir's Aytek Sakman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eskisehir's Rıdvan Yılkan pulled a muscle in his leg after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lemi Verim was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Lemi Verim kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Eskisehir's Aytek Sakman got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Atıf Baydar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Aytek Sakman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eskisehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Aytek Sakman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serbülent Urza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mürsel Başaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atıf Baydar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Serbülent Urza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Oğuz Suersan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Değirmenköy FC's Sufi Ceylan. But to his dismay, Sufi Ceylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskisehir's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Suersan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Eskisehir could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Değirmenköy FC throughout the match.
