After 8 played minutes Ondokuzmayis JK got a freekick which was hit by Ercüment Laçin. 14 minutes into the match, İNTİKAM TİMİ's goalkeeper Ahmet Göktuğ Erginsoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şener Cengaver. Ercüment Laçin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ahmet Göktuğ Erginsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Göktuğ Erginsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkın İhya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arkın İhya in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Göktuğ Erginsoy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Çelikan Şahbazoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Ondokuzmayis JK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ercüment Laçin hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Orhan Seyfi Halıcı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The İNTİKAM TİMİ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of İNTİKAM TİMİ booed when Ondokuzmayis JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercüment Laçin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, one of Ondokuzmayis JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ondokuzmayis JK. Nurettin Atlas went to the wrong direction when Davut Sargan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arkın İhya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Davut Sargan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Ondokuzmayis JK's Nurettin Atlas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ondokuzmayis JK from getting a goal against them. Arkın İhya charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkın İhya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th match minute, Ondokuzmayis JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkın İhya to maneuver through the defense.
