Peker Rafih didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hurşit Uzman went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ersin Necat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Luleburgaz's zone, Ersin Necat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peker Rafih came out of the goal and Ersin Necat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ersin Necat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peker Rafih having to interfere. Hurşit Uzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peker Rafih having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Ersin Necat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahsili FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ersin Necat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaptan Akçakan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Kurtuluş Beksan, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luleburgaz's Remzi Gökdoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ersin Necat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, Luleburgaz's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Uzman came free, but Peker Rafih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hurşit Uzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ersin Necat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Peker Rafih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remzi Gökdoğan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Bahsili FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hasan Ogün to maneuver through the defense. Peker Rafih made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hurşit Uzman in the 58th minute of play. İsrafil Salman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Otaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uygur Yula hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Hurşit Uzman came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bahsili FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hurşit Uzman couldn't finish the play. Bahsili FK's Rüknettin Tuncaral got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ersin Necats short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Peker Rafih to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute Hurşit Uzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peker Rafih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Hurşit Uzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahsili FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hurşit Uzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peker Rafih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
