Gökhun Tunçbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Suphi Kutel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdi Mehmet Engiay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyhan Demirezen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arkın Ersed charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkın Ersed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arkın Ersed hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Abdi Mehmet Engiay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyhan Demirezen in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Alucra got a freekick which was hit by Suphi Kudsi. The Alucra fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Alucra's Seyhan Demirezen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 28 minutes, Seyhan Demirezen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alucra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seyhan Demirezen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yerköy JK's zone, Gökhun Tunçbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdi Mehmet Engiay came out of the goal and Gökhun Tunçbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seyhan Demirezen struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Abdi Mehmet Engiay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alucra. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gökhun Tunçbay in the 33rd minute of play forced Yerköy JK's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Engiay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Alucra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suphi Kudsi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suphi Kudsi in the 37th minute of play forced Yerköy JK's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Engiay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ahmet Asım Tümenbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alucra's Gökhun Tunçbay got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Asım Tümenbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gökhun Tunçbay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alucra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökhun Tunçbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Yerköy JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alucra:s goal. Gökhun Tunçbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yerköy JK's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Engiay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Yerköy JK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Asım Tümenbay. Seyhan Demirezen might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdi Mehmet Engiay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyhan Demirezen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 played minutes Alucra got a freekick which was hit by Erhan Uçarer. In the 79th minute of the match Suphi Kutel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Çakır Sökmen skillfully saved the ball. Çakır Sökmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Asım Tümenbay, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gökhun Tunçbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdi Mehmet Engiay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Seyhan Demirezen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdi Mehmet Engiay was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 87 minutes into the match, Yerköy JK's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Engiay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gökhun Tunçbay. Abdi Mehmet Engiay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seyhan Demirezen's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Gökhun Tunçbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Mehmet Engiay having to interfere.
