Hamit Sarik was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ediz Enginer. Mehmet Oğuz Bedih came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray Sk's Anıl Akil. But to his dismay, Anıl Akil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Anıl Akil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Oğuz Bedih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, one of güçlü gençler:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Galatasaray Sk. Cemalettin Ertuna stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mehmet Oğuz Bedih. 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şansal Sungur in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Oğuz Bedih prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Şansal Sungur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray Sk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave güçlü gençler the free kick. The supporters of güçlü gençler booed when Galatasaray Sk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şansal Sungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şansal Sungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Oğuz Bedih having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şansal Sungur in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Oğuz Bedih saved güçlü gençler from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Şansal Sungur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Oğuz Bedih was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, güçlü gençler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birsel Buminhan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şansal Sungur in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Oğuz Bedih saved güçlü gençler from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, güçlü gençler's goal looked a bit too open when Şansal Sungur came free, but Mehmet Oğuz Bedih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Oğuz Bedih came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray Sk's Hayrettin Balcıoğlu. But to his dismay, Hayrettin Balcıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Ali Güralp Oker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Oğuz Bedih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. güçlü gençler's Mehmet Oğuz Bedih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şansal Sungur in the 55th minute of play. Galatasaray Sk's Ali Güralp Oker got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cemalettin Ertuna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mehmet Oğuz Bedih came out and tried to block the shot, but Cemalettin Ertuna slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute Songur Taykara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamit Sarik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Birsel Buminhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, güçlü gençler's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Bedih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anıl Akil. 75 minutes into the match, Şansal Sungur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mehmet Oğuz Bedih, 0-5. Hamit Sarik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songur Taykara in the 90th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Songur Taykara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galatasaray Sk's Hamit Sarik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Güralp Oker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Mehmet Oğuz Bedih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The güçlü gençler fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray Sk were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
