The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedirhan Birhan got free with Cevher Bürgehan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Yunus Samir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Karadan SK's Cevher Bürgehan got control of the ball when Yunus Samir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yunus Samir to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yunus Samir in the 58th minute of play forced Karadan SK's goalkeeper Cevher Bürgehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Attilio Bontempi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karadan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attilio Bontempi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Melih Durul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karadan SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kasabanın Şerifi the free kick. After 79 played minutes Karadan SK got a freekick which was hit by Melih Durul. In the 91st minute Yunus Samir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cevher Bürgehan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karadan SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
