Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Canakkale's Cevdet Yaltıray started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Omar Gaur had several of the Canakkale's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Çelikan Erol as he didn't even see the shot coming. Erdoğan Uralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelikan Erol having to interfere. The supporters of BALSPOR booed when Canakkale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güntekin Yücealp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, BALSPOR's Omar Gaur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çelikan Erol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erdoğan Uralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Canakkale's zone, Omar Gaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Çelikan Erol came out of the goal and Omar Gaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes BALSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Ni Feng Ao. In the 24th minute, Ercan Akçal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Omar Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelikan Erol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Omar Gaur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canakkale's Çelikan Erol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Seyrani Zeki kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Erdoğan Uralp came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Çelikan Erol could save by the left post. BALSPOR's Omar Gaur got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdoğan Uralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelikan Erol having to interfere. Ni Feng Ao's late challenge caught a Canakkale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ni Feng Ao helped the player get up and apologised. Omar Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Omar Gaur succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 45th playminute. Ronaldinho Aşkın struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Çelikan Erol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BALSPOR. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Ronaldinho Aşkın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Gaur in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Çelikan Erol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erdoğan Uralp took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Çelikan Erol. Çelikan Erol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. BALSPOR's Emílio Simões was substituted for Ronaldinho Aşkın. In the 62nd minute, Omar Gaur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BALSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 66 minutes into the match, Canakkale's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Gaur came free, but Çelikan Erol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gürkan Songur kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Erdoğan Uralp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Çelikan Erol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Gaur in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Çelikan Erol saved Canakkale from getting behind. Tolga Barbaros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alaaddin Egeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BALSPOR's Özcan Ceri was substituted for Ercan Akçal. Omar Gaur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
