Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bahtiyar Tuygun started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Kozakli booed when Yahyali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulusi Yaşer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hıdır Hicab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahtiyar Tuygun in the 5th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Çağan Yüksel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdi Akgün was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Seyfettin İlmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdi Akgün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çağan Yüksel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kozakli's Ferdi Akgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağan Yüksel in the 21st minute of play. If Çağan Yüksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necmi Azer during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kozakli getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Necmi Azer hit a great ball. When Çağan Yüksel came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Yahyali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağan Yüksel couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Turgut Kahveci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yahyali's supporters rose to their feet, but Turgut Kahveci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdi Akgün breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çağan Yüksel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferdi Akgün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağan Yüksel in the 54th minute of play. Kozakli's Ferdi Akgün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağan Yüksel in the 55th minute of play. Ferdi Akgün was a little too slow when Çağan Yüksel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-1. Abdulvahit Tunçaslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hıdır Hicab having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Kozakli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Azer to maneuver through the defense. Yahyali's Göktuğ Baykal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kozakli. Çağan Yüksel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi Akgün having to interfere. Yahyali's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
